Why Ammati
vs agencies, vs freelancers, vs SaaS

This is close, bespoke digital work for tools, automations, and GEO visibility, shaped by the same human experience behind therapy and creative work. If you want a forty-page pitch deck and three account managers who have never built a thing, hire an agency. You are in the wrong place on purpose.

Digital marketing agency

Agencies optimise for retainers, headcount, and recurring meetings. I optimise for a working thing you can ship. You get one accountable builder who has already shipped extensions, apps, MCP servers, and GEO audits under the same brand.

If you want “brand vibes” without technical follow-through, hire an agency. If you want clear scope, honest trade-offs, and code that exists, start here.

Freelance developer (code only)

Plenty of developers will build exactly what you ask for. I start one step earlier: why should this exist, what would make it embarrassing if we shipped the wrong version, and what “done” actually means for the person using it.

If you already have pixel-perfect specs and only need hands on keys, there are cheaper options. If you want product thinking plus build, that is the mix I sell.

Subscription GEO / AI tools

Many tools sit at $39/month or more forever. My bias is toward ownable utilities where it makes sense (for example Red Telephone: pay once, self-host) and audits that tell you what to fix, not dashboards that rent you anxiety.

AI visibility is real. It is not magic. See our free check for a snapshot, then decide if you want deeper help.

Same person, different layer

Classic SEO

Rankings, keywords, SERPs, backlinks. Still important. Not the whole game.

GEO

What ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini say when asked. One conversational answer can bypass ten blue links.

I build tooling on both sides: audits for AI visibility, and products for real workflows.

Good fit / not a fit

Good fit: founders, therapists, creators, and small teams who want one senior person, plain language, and shipping discipline.

Not a fit: enterprise procurement that needs SLAs and 24/7 war rooms, or “build the next Instagram” without constraints.
